If you want to win in life, you must believe that your future is going to be bright. I’m not talking about covering your eyes and ignoring the brutal facts about your life or the negative circumstances that you find yourself in.
Nor am I talking about waking up and reciting a daily Stepford wives positive thinking mantra (as many advocate).
I’m talking about building the mental discipline into your thought patterns that leads you to say:
- This can be figured out
- This circumstance is paving my path to a better future
- I will not be dragged down by anxiety or engage in self-fulfilling negative self-talk because
- I’m going to win
It’s the habit of locking your attitude in at a 10, every day. This is a learned skill that all of the great leaders that I work with strive towards daily.
